Week Beginning: 23rd September 2024

NURSERY

This week in nursery we will be reading The Gingerbread man, by friday the children will be able to act out the story infront of their friends.

They will have the opportunity to make and decorate biscuits, in maths we will be looking at quantity and weight whilst following a recipe measuring out the ingredients .

RECEPTION

YEAR 1

This week, in Maths, Year 1 will be adding two single digits together to find the total. In English, Year 1 will be making a missing poster using adjectives and writing main clauses. In DT, we will be making moving pictures. PE days are Monday and Thursday. Thank you for making sure the reading records are signed everyday.

YEAR 2

YEAR 3

This week in year 3, we will be continuing our calculation learning moving onto multiplication. We will be revisiting our known times tables and working to multiply two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers. In English we are going to be exploring different sentence types and having a go at writing our own questions and commands. Our geography learning will be continuing to look at maps and investigating what we can find out about different countries and in science we will be carrying on with our work around forces.
