Safeguarding Overview

Safeguarding At Gray’s Farm Primary Academy

At Gray’s Farm Primary  we adhere to all national and local polices in regard to Safeguarding Children and Young People. Gray’s Farm Primary is committed to gender, racial, religious and disability equality in every part of school life. Gray’s Farm is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

At Gray’s Farm Primary Academy the safety and welfare of our pupils is of the utmost importance.

All adults working in the school have a duty to protect children/young people from all forms of harm and abuse as set out in ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024’.

If there are Child Protection concerns then Bromley’s Social Care MASH referral systems are followed in accordance with the principles of the London Child Protection Child Protection Procedures.

The school’s policy and procedures also accord with:

  • "Working Together to Safeguard Children” (HM Government, July 2018).

  • ‘What to do if you’re worried a child is being abused’ (HM Government, March 2015)
