In maths we will be looking at shapes and colours.
Reception
Welcome back for the summer term, we hope you had a lovely Easter break.
This week in reception we will be recapping on the life cycle of a plant and linking this with our maths topic measurement. If you have any photos of your child's plant you took home please post them on tapestry, for us to share with the class.
Through the week we will be looking at vehicles with wheels linked to the schools DT programme, so keep an eye out as you walk around and discuss these with your child.
Please continue reading every day and return all book bags by Wednesday.

This week in Maths, Year 1 will be counting in multiples of 2ps, 5ps and 10ps and writing repeated additions for each of the coins. In English, we will be learning about toucans and their habitat. We will be sorting facts which we will use to write a fact file. PE days will be Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child's reading record is signed every day when you have read with them. Thank you for your continued support.

Welcome back to our Summer 1 Term.

In science, we are starting our new topic 'How is my body amazing?' and will be looking at balanced diets and how to fuel our bodies and we will be learning about the layers of the earth in geography.
Year 4
Welcome back! We all hope you had a good holiday. We had a brilliant end to the spring term in year 4! We couldn't do it without all of your contributions and help. This coming half term we are going to be looking at the destructive power of water in Geography, while in Science we're learning all about our digestive system - always a fun topic. This is the term we also look more into computing and as you know R.S.E starts this week.
Year 5
Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely Easter break. This week, we will be creating some descriptive writing in English with a focus on editing to improve our work. In Maths, we are revisiting some areas of place value.
